Exterior hand wash, clay bar, wheels and tires, tire dressing, full vacuum, dash and console, glass, door jambs, and 2–3 month paint sealant. Right for a vehicle that's regularly maintained.
Everything above plus iron decontamination, clay bar treatment, leather conditioning, plastic and trim dressings, deep interior clean, and a 6-month paint sealant. The most common first visit.
Everything above plus single-step machine polish to remove swirls and light scratches, then sealant over corrected paint. Closest to new-car condition without full correction.
Surface area, mostly. A crew cab F-250 has roughly double the paint of a sedan, plus bigger wheels, more glass, larger interior, and a bed. It's not an upcharge for the badge — it's hours.
A $79 "full detail" is a wash with a vacuum. There's no clay bar, no decontamination, no protection — and often a dirty wash mitt dragging grit across your clear coat, adding swirl marks you'll pay to remove later.
The math that matters: a $350 detail every six months costs less over three years than a $79 wash monthly that also degrades your paint the whole time.

At Delicate Details, an Essential Detail starts at $195 for a sedan, $220 for an SUV, and $240 for a truck. Full Reset & Protect runs $350-$400, and a Premium Detail with machine polish runs $695-$895 depending on vehicle size.
Surface area and time. A crew cab truck has roughly twice the paint of a sedan, plus larger wheels, more glass, a bigger interior, and a bed. Truck pricing reflects the additional hours, typically $40-$200 more per package.
Vehicle condition is the biggest factor. Pet hair, smoke odor, stains requiring extraction, and heavy caliche or hard water buildup all add labor. A well-maintained vehicle stays at base price.
Usually not. A $79 detail is a wash and vacuum with no clay bar, no decontamination, and no paint protection. Improper wash technique also introduces swirl marks that cost more to correct later than the savings.
