One compound pass removes light-to-moderate swirl marks and surface defects. Entry-level paint correction for vehicles that need more than a polish but don't require the full two-step treatment. From $350 sedan.
Single-step paint correction sits between paint enhancement and two-step correction. Unlike enhancement (which uses only a finishing polish), single-step uses an actual cutting compound to physically remove material from the clear coat and eliminate defects — not just smooth over them.
It removes approximately 50-60% of defects. Light swirl marks, surface haze, and light scratches come out. The limitation of single-step is that it doesn't include the refining stage — on very dark vehicles or paint with denser swirl patterns, two-step delivers noticeably better clarity and gloss because the finishing polish removes the micro-marring the compound left behind.
We'll assess your paint before confirming single-step is the right level. If the defects are moderate and two-step would give you a dramatically better result, we'll tell you — we'd rather give you an honest recommendation than take your money and leave you with a result that could have been better.
Full wash before any polishing work. Paint inspected under lighting to assess defect severity and confirm single-step is the right correction level for your vehicle.
Chemical iron remover applied to all painted surfaces. Dissolves bonded metallic fallout that can't be removed by washing alone.
Clay bar removes remaining bonded surface contaminants. Paint surface prepared properly before machine polishing begins.
Machine polisher with a light cutting compound worked panel-by-panel. Removes light-to-moderate swirls, haze, and surface defects from the clear coat.
Every corrected panel checked under high-intensity inspection lights. Results confirmed before moving to the next section.
