We're 10 minutes from Wolfforth at 82nd & Frankford. Drop off before work, pick up the same day. No mobile setups — real shop, real results.
Every detail is performed at our climate-controlled shop at 13209 Frankford Ave, Suite 4, Lubbock — not in a parking lot or driveway. We use a grit-guard multi-bucket hand wash process, professional-grade products, and a final LED lighting inspection before every pickup.
Wolfforth sits on Lubbock's southwest edge, directly exposed to the prevailing winds that push caliche red clay dust across the South Plains agricultural zone. The combination of environmental factors here is genuinely harder on vehicles than most markets in the country.
Caliche is a calcium carbonate-rich soil compound that becomes airborne during dry spells and windstorms. When it settles on paint, it doesn't wash off easily — it compacts into carpet, packs into wheel wells and door jambs, and when wiped dry, acts as a mild abrasive on clear coat. Over time, this is the primary source of the swirl marks and micro-scratching we see on most Wolfforth vehicles. Our mechanical clay bar decontamination step removes bonded caliche particles from the clear coat surface before any protection is applied.
Lubbock-area water supply carries high calcium and magnesium mineral content. When water evaporates off a vehicle surface in the West Texas heat, it leaves concentrated mineral deposits behind. On unprotected paint, these etch into the clear coat within hours. Dark-colored vehicles — particularly the black and navy trucks common in Wolfforth — show these water spots as visible chalky rings that require paint correction to fully remove.
Lubbock averages 263 sunny days annually with a UV Index regularly exceeding 10 in summer. Vehicles parked outdoors in Wolfforth receive among the highest UV radiation exposure of any residential area in Texas. Clear coat oxidation — the dull, faded, chalky appearance that develops over years — progresses faster here than in high-humidity or cloud-frequent markets. Our paint sealant and ceramic coating options block UV at the surface and dramatically slow this process.
West Texas interior temperatures exceed 150°F in summer. This level of thermal cycling dries out leather conditioning agents, cracks vinyl trim, and degrades rubber seals noticeably faster than the manufacturer's expected rate. Leather treatment is included in our Full Reset & Protect package specifically because of these conditions.
Our shop is located at 82nd & Frankford — centrally positioned to serve the entire Lubbock metro and surrounding South Plains communities. Most clients across the following areas are within 15–30 minutes of our shop.
We're at 13209 Frankford Ave, Suite 4, Lubbock — approximately 10–12 minutes from most of Wolfforth via the Marsha Sharp Freeway or 82nd Street. Drop-off and pickup are quick — most clients are in and out of the shop in under 5 minutes.
For a work truck driven in the Wolfforth / Lubbock area, our Full Reset & Protect ($400 truck) is the most practical choice. The clay bar decontamination removes iron particles from brake dust and agricultural fallout, and the 6-month paint sealant protects against caliche abrasion and hard water etching. If the paint shows visible swirl marks or dull areas, the Premium Detail ($895 truck) with machine paint correction is the correct starting point.
In the West Texas environment, we recommend every 3–4 months for daily-use vehicles without ceramic coating, and every 4–6 months for ceramic-coated vehicles. The caliche dust accumulation rate and UV load here exceeds the national average significantly — the standard "once a year" advice doesn't hold up in this climate.
Yes. Light-to-moderate water spotting is addressed during our clay bar decontamination and chemical iron fallout removal stages. Severe water spot etching that has penetrated the clear coat requires paint correction (included in the Premium Detail). We'll assess the depth of the etching when you bring the vehicle in and recommend the appropriate service level before any work begins.
We are appointment-based. Text or call (806) 855-8042 — we typically respond same day and often have next-day or same-week availability. Walk-ins are welcome for a quote, but we cannot guarantee same-day service without an appointment.
The Full Reset & Protect includes a thorough clean, clay bar decontamination, leather conditioning, and a 6-month paint sealant. The Premium Detail adds machine paint correction — the step that physically removes swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from the clear coat using a dual-action orbital polisher. If your paint has visible defects in direct light, you need the Premium. If the paint looks good and you just want it clean and protected, the Full Reset is the right call.
