The Stage 2 Full Reset does everything Stage 1 does — and then goes further. The step most car washes and even basic details skip is proper chemical decontamination. Iron fallout from brake dust bonds to your paint and stays there. You can't wash it off. A chemical iron remover dissolves it safely before it has a chance to oxidize and damage the clear coat.
After chemical decontamination, a clay bar pulls any remaining bonded contaminants off the surface. The difference is tactile — run your hand over properly clayed paint and it feels like glass. That smooth, clean surface is what protective products are designed to bond to. The 6-month paint protection applied at the end actually adheres and lasts.
