Synthetic polymer protection — 4-6 months of defense against UV, water spots, and contamination. Included in our Stage 2 and Stage 3 detail packages.
Paint sealant is a synthetic polymer applied to the clear coat that creates a protective layer against UV, water spots, and light contamination. In Lubbock, where UV is intense and hard water is a constant issue, that barrier genuinely matters between detail cycles.
It's not ceramic coating. The bond isn't as hard, the durability isn't as long, and the hydrophobic effect isn't as strong. But it costs nothing extra on a Stage 2 or Stage 3 detail, and it beats having zero protection for 6 months between appointments.
Think of it this way: sealant is what your paint gets every detail cycle. Ceramic coating is what your paint gets once and then maintains. Both are better than nothing — they just serve different purposes.
Paint sealant is standard — included in our Stage 2 Full Reset and Stage 3 Full Detail packages. You don't add it — it's already part of what we do. Book a detail and your paint leaves protected.
