No. Waxes and SiO2 sealants sit on top of the coating and mask its hydrophobic properties rather than adding to them. The coating is the protection.
Remove them as soon as you notice. Etching from droppings, bugs, tree sap or industrial fallout not removed within 7 days is excluded from warranty coverage.
