These are the questions we hear most often from Lubbock vehicle owners before they book. Straight answers — no runaround.
Stage 1 (Essential Detail): approximately 3 hours. Stage 2 (Full Reset & Protect): approximately 5 hours. Stage 3 (Premium Detail): 7–8 hours. Ceramic coating installations require additional time on top of the detail prep work — and we keep ceramic coating vehicles overnight for the initial 24-hour cure period before delivery.
Drop-off is typically in the morning. We'll give you a realistic pickup window when you book so you can plan your day.
No. Bring it in whatever condition it's in — that's our job. We've done vehicles that haven't seen the inside of a shop in years, interiors with kids' snack explosions baked into the seats, and trucks caked in South Plains caliche. The only thing that changes based on the vehicle's condition is which stage we recommend. If you tell us roughly what shape it's in when you book, we can make sure you're scheduled for the right service.
Stage 1 is a thorough maintenance clean — exterior hand wash, clay bar, tire dressing, interior vacuum and wipe-down. Best for vehicles that get regular attention. Stage 2 adds steam interior cleaning, carpet and seat extraction, leather conditioning, and a 6-month ceramic sealant on the paint. Best when the interior needs real work or you want lasting paint protection. Stage 3 adds machine paint correction — swirl marks and oxidation removed from the clear coat before the sealant goes on. Best when paint looks dull, hazy, or swirled in sunlight.
Lubbock's caliche dust, hard water, and intense UV mean your vehicle is working against worse conditions than most climates. Our general recommendation: Stage 1 every 3–4 months for a maintained vehicle. Stage 2 once or twice a year for vehicles that see regular family or work use. If you have a ceramic coating installed, an annual maintenance detail is smart — it removes bonded fallout that builds up over time and lets us inspect the coating condition.
Yes — that's most of what we see. A vehicle being truly difficult to rescue is rare. What changes with heavily neglected vehicles is the time required and occasionally the stage recommendation. If your interior has years of embedded odor, Stage 2's steam and extraction is the only thing that actually addresses it — a wipe-down won't cut it. Tell us what you're working with and we'll tell you what's realistic.
Yes. We offer three ceramic coating tiers: 2-year starting at $799, 5-year starting at $1,299, and 10-year starting at $1,899. We install IGL Coatings and CarPro products — professional-grade formulations with documented chemistry and manufacturer-backed durability ratings. Every ceramic coating job includes full decontamination prep and paint correction is quoted separately based on your paint's current condition. See our full ceramic coating page for details.
No. We are shop-based only. Our shop is at 13209 Frankford Ave Suite 4, Lubbock TX 79424. This is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. Lubbock wind, heat, and dust make outdoor detailing a quality compromise — you cannot clay bar a panel while caliche blows into it, and you cannot apply ceramic coating in direct West Texas sun. Our controlled bay environment is part of what makes the work we do possible.
13209 Frankford Ave Suite 4, Lubbock TX 79424. We're on Frankford Ave in the Frenship area of southwest Lubbock, south of 130th Street. Free parking on site, private detail bay, drop-off service.
Call us at (806) 855-8042 or use the online contact form on our website. We'll ask a few quick questions about your vehicle and current condition, recommend the right stage, and get you scheduled. No hard selling — we just want to make sure you end up in the right service.
Ask us when you book — we'll confirm current payment options at that time. We accept multiple methods including cash, card, Venmo, and CashApp.
It depends on the scratch. Stage 3 includes machine polishing that removes surface scratches and swirl marks living in the clear coat — these are the most common type. Scratches that have gone through the clear coat into the base coat (you can see color difference or bare metal) require touch-up paint or body repair, not polishing. We'll inspect your paint and be straight with you about what's correctable.
For Stage 1 and Stage 2, yes — morning drop-off and afternoon pickup works for most jobs. Stage 3 is a long day (7–8 hours) so early drop-off is important. Ceramic coating vehicles stay overnight — we will not release a freshly coated vehicle until the 24-hour initial cure window has passed. We'll be specific about pickup timing when you schedule.
