Ceramic Coating in Slaton, TX:
Protecting Your Paint the Right Way

Ceramic coated silver car for a Slaton TX customer at Delicate Details

Slaton is about 20 minutes from our shop on Frankford Ave, and it's one of the more common surrounding towns we see vehicles come in from. The drive is short enough that most customers treat it like any other errand into Lubbock.

The Cotton Country Dust Problem

Slaton sits in cotton country, and that comes with its own particulate load — fine soil dust kicked up during planting and harvest seasons that settles on paint the same way caliche dust does elsewhere in the region. Combined with West Texas UV, unprotected paint out here takes a real beating.

What's Included in Every Package

  • Full exterior hand wash and iron decontamination
  • Clay bar treatment to strip bonded contaminants
  • Paint correction (scales from 1-step to 3-step by package tier)
  • Professional CarPro ceramic coating application

We don't skip the correction step to save time. A ceramic coating is permanent once applied — whatever your paint looks like going in is what's locked in for years. That's non-negotiable regardless of which package you choose.

Most Slaton customers land on the 5-Year Advanced package at $1,299 for a sedan/coupe — it's the sweet spot for a daily driver that'll see a few years of West Texas weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you serve Slaton?

Yes. We are shop-based in south Lubbock and customers drive in from Slaton and across the South Plains. Because coating and correction need a controlled environment, the work happens at our shop rather than at your location.

Why not mobile detailing in Slaton?

Ceramic coating needs a dust-free, temperature-controlled space to bond and cure. In West Texas wind and caliche dust, an outdoor application traps contamination in the cured layer, and that cannot be fixed without removing and redoing it.

How long will my vehicle be with you?

A detail is most of a day. Ceramic coating is typically multiple days, because decontamination, correction, application and cure each need their own time. We give you a real timeline up front.

Where exactly are you located?

We are shop-based at 13209 Frankford Ave, Suite 4 in south Lubbock, open Mon–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat 10am–5pm. Ceramic coating in particular needs a dust-free, temperature-controlled space to cure properly, which is not achievable outdoors in West Texas.
