Before any protection can go on your vehicle properly, the paint has to be right. Paint correction is the process of removing defects from your clear coat using machine polishing — the swirl marks left by car washes, water spots from hard Lubbock water, scratches from brushes and improper washing, and oxidation from years of UV exposure.
We offer three levels of correction depending on the condition of your paint:
Light enhancement for paint that's in good shape — minor swirls, light haze, small imperfections. Brings clarity and gloss without aggressive cutting.
Compound stage removes heavy defects, polish stage refines the finish. The most common correction level for daily drivers with existing swirl damage.
For severely damaged or neglected paint. Heavy cutting, refining, and final polishing to achieve the deepest correction possible before coating.
Iron fallout removal, clay bar, IPA panel wipe. The non-negotiable prep before any correction or coating. You can't polish contaminated paint.
Why this matters for Lubbock vehicles specifically: West Texas dust is high in calcium carbonate and iron particulate from road traffic. A hydrophobic glass coating applied to your windshield changes the way rain behaves at highway speed. Instead of spreading across the glass in sheets, water beads up and rolls off from wind pressure alone. In a West Texas rainstorm, that means cleaner sightlines, less wiper reliance, and significantly reduced glare from oncoming headlights at night.
It also protects against bug acid and mineral deposits from hard water — both of which can permanently etch unprotected glass over time. A coated windshield stays cleaner and clears faster in weather.
Your wheels take more abuse than any other surface on the vehicle. Brake dust — hot iron particles released by your rotors every time you stop — embeds in the finish and bakes on with heat. On bare wheels, that contamination is nearly impossible to remove without aggressive chemicals that can damage the finish further.
Ceramic coating on your wheel faces means brake dust doesn't stick. It sits on top of the slick hydrophobic surface and wipes off with a damp cloth at your next wash. The glossy appearance holds between washes. And the coating protects against the heat and corrosion that brake dust causes over years.
