The Delicate Details Protection Program pairs a professional CarPro DQuartz nano-diamond ceramic coating (finished with CarPro Gliss topcoat) with scheduled annual maintenance — so the protection you paid for keeps performing for the full life of your package. These are the terms of the limited warranty that comes with every Program package. This is a limited warranty provided by Delicate Details; it is not a manufacturer warranty.
Every Protection Program package includes professional installation of the coating, plus annual maintenance visits for the life of your package — included in your package price. Each visit covers a coating inspection, decontamination wash, and topcoat refresh as needed. Ten visits on the 10-Year program, five on the 5-Year, two on the 2-Year.
For the duration of the Program, we warrant that the coating will maintain its protective performance — specifically hydrophobic (water-beading) behavior and gloss retention attributable to the coating itself. If the coating fails on any panel while coverage is active, we will prep and re-apply the coating to the affected panel(s) at no charge. Re-application of the affected area is the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty; no cash refunds.
To keep coverage active, the vehicle must be brought in for its included annual maintenance visit within 45 days of each installation anniversary. We send scheduling reminders by text and email before each visit is due. The visits are already included in your package price — there is no additional charge to keep coverage active. If an annual visit is missed, warranty coverage ends as of that missed anniversary.
This warranty covers coating failure — not damage from outside causes. Exclusions include: rock chips, scratches, scuffs, dents, or any physical damage; collision, vandalism, hail, or other acts of nature; automatic or brush-style car washes, or harsh/incorrect chemicals; etching from bird droppings, bug remains, tree sap, or industrial fallout not removed within 7 days; products applied over the coating by anyone other than Delicate Details; panels repainted after installation (coverage may be reinstated if re-coated by us); pre-existing paint defects noted at installation; and gradual wear on high-impact areas (lower rockers, front bumper leading edges) consistent with normal road exposure.
Call us at (806) 855-8042 within 14 days of noticing a suspected coating failure and make the vehicle available for inspection at our shop. We determine, acting reasonably, whether the condition is a covered coating failure.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and the specific vehicle identified at purchase, and is non-transferable. It is provided by Delicate Details and is not issued, backed, or administered by CarPro or any manufacturer. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY PROVIDED, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
A signed copy of these terms — identifying your vehicle and installation date — is completed with every Program package. Your annual visit history is maintained in our system and available on request.
