Shallowater sits close enough to Lubbock that most residents just drive into the city for ceramic coating rather than expect a shop out here — and that's exactly what we see. We coat vehicles from Shallowater every week at our Frankford Ave location, about a 15-minute drive from town.
The paint conditions aren't any easier out here. If anything, the more open, less developed land around Shallowater means more direct sun exposure and more blowing dust with less windbreak from buildings — the same caliche dust that etches Lubbock paint is doing the same thing to vehicles parked outside in Shallowater.
A professional ceramic coating chemically bonds to your clear coat and creates a hydrophobic, UV-resistant layer that wax simply can't match. Where wax breaks down in 4-8 weeks, our coatings are rated for 2, 5, or 10 years depending on the package.
Most Shallowater customers either drop off on a weekend or arrange the timing around a trip into Lubbock. We're appointment-based, so we schedule the work around when you can actually get the vehicle to us — no waiting in a lobby.
Pricing starts at $799 for our 2-Year Essential package on a sedan/coupe, with 5-year and 10-year tiers available. Trucks and SUVs run slightly higher due to surface area.
Ceramic coating requires controlled conditions — no wind-blown dust settling into the coating while it cures, consistent temperature, and proper lighting to catch every swirl during paint correction. That's not something a driveway or parking lot can reliably offer, which is exactly why we do all coating work in our shop.
We'll inspect your paint and tell you exactly what it needs — most clients are booked within 48 hours.
The Coat Plan is our monthly ceramic maintenance membership. pH-safe washes, iron decontamination, and SiO₂ topper every month. Priority scheduling, locked-in rate. No contracts.
Yes. We are shop-based in south Lubbock and customers drive in from Shallowater and across the South Plains. Because coating and correction need a controlled environment, the work happens at our shop rather than at your location.
Ceramic coating needs a dust-free, temperature-controlled space to bond and cure. In West Texas wind and caliche dust, an outdoor application traps contamination in the cured layer, and that cannot be fixed without removing and redoing it.
A detail is most of a day. Ceramic coating is typically multiple days, because decontamination, correction, application and cure each need their own time. We give you a real timeline up front.
We are shop-based at 13209 Frankford Ave, Suite 4 in south Lubbock, open Mon–Fri 9am–5pm and Sat 10am–5pm. Ceramic coating in particular needs a dust-free, temperature-controlled space to cure properly, which is not achievable outdoors in West Texas.
