Real Correction —
One Stage
Single-step paint correction sits between paint enhancement and two-step correction. The selected polish and pad remove a controlled amount of surface material to improve suitable clear-coat defects. Results depend on defect depth, paint behavior, safe remaining film build, and the test spot.
It is intended to improve light swirl marks, surface haze, and suitable shallow scratches. A single-step service does not include a separate refining stage, so very dark vehicles or paint with denser swirl patterns may benefit from two-step correction. We use a test spot to set the safest realistic expectation before doing the full vehicle.
We inspect the paint before confirming the level. If the test spot shows that one stage would leave distracting correctable haze, we explain the likely difference between single-step and two-step work before the scope is approved.
