Tesla ceramic coating at Delicate Details in Lubbock, TX starts at $799 for a sedan. Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck. Three tiers: 2-year Essential $799, 5-year Advanced $1,299, 10-year Elite $1,899, priced higher by vehicle size. Tesla paint is known to be softer than most, which makes correction technique and protection matter more.
Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck. Tesla's paint is notoriously soft and thin — which makes correction-plus-ceramic the single best thing you can do for one in West Texas.
Tesla owners figure this out fast: the paint swirls if you look at it wrong. Thin, soft clear coat straight from the factory — often with defects already in it, since Teslas skip traditional dealer prep. Put that paint against Lubbock caliche dust, hard water, and 260+ days of UV and it ages faster than anything else in the parking lot. Our process is built for it: a careful machine correction matched to Tesla's soft clear (aggressive pads that work on a Ford will burn through on a Model Y), then a professional CarPro ceramic coating to give the paint the hardness it never had. White, black, and Midnight Silver all respond dramatically. Charging routine doesn't change; wash routine gets easier.
Full decontamination, 1-step correction, 2-year CarPro coating. The entry point for daily-driven Teslas.
Our most popular package — adds wheel faces and windshield coating. The sweet spot for a Tesla you're keeping.
Maximum durability — paint, trim, full wheels, and glass protected for the life of most ownership.
Tesla's white vegan leather shows everything — we clean and protect it with products matched to the material.
One note on home washing: After coating, never take a Tesla through a brush wash — hand wash or touchless only. The coating makes that easy: dust and water sheet off with low pressure, no hard scrubbing needed.
Tesla's paint is known for being softer than most factory paint — Model 3 and Model Y in particular. Soft paint scratches and swirls more easily during washing, and needs a more careful machine polish before coating. We adjust our compound and polish selection specifically for soft clear coat systems.
We coat all Tesla models — Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X. Model Y is our most common and usually prices close to a full-size sedan. Model X and Model S are slightly larger and priced accordingly. Call (806) 855-8042 for a specific quote.
Tesla ceramic coating starts at $799 for the 2-year SiO2 package, $1,299 for the 5-year Silicon Carbide, and $1,899 for the 10-year Elite. Model X and Model S may run slightly more due to size. Full paint correction prep is included in every package.
Yes — that's exactly what it's designed for. West Texas UV is some of the most intense in the country and directly causes clear coat oxidation on unprotected paint. Ceramic coating adds UV blockers on top of the paint that prevent oxidation, while the hydrophobic surface makes caliche dust and hard water spots easy to rinse off.
If you're doing both PPF and ceramic, PPF goes on first and the ceramic coat goes on top of the PPF (we coat the film, not the paint in those areas). If you're only doing ceramic, it goes directly on the paint. We can advise on which approach makes sense for your situation.
